This was a job that started with a request for painting and decorating. As a plastering outfit, we don't usually do decorating, but with our recommendation, this hall, stairs and landing was transformed from the 90s into contemporary, clean and modern.

The ceilings were stippled artex, so I suggested plastering the ceilings and adding downlighters. The client then asked me to install new iron stair spindles, before painting everything in a striking choice of high-quality paints.

I don't usually get the opportunity to finish the job with paint, but when I do I like to create a sharp, clean look that makes an impact that will last for years.
