Torr Engineering was formed in 2009 by two experienced and time served engineers to provide specialist refrigeration and air conditioning services. We are based in Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire and work both locally in the Grimsby / Cleethorpes & surrounding areas, and throughout the UK. e can tailor our package to suit your needs, from design and installation through to service, maintenance and repair of all types of systems in the domestic, commercial, retail and light industrial sectors. We have extensive experience working on high risk sites such as petrochemical installations, oil refineries, power stations and petrol forecourts. Torr are members of ConCom, the Humber Bank Contractors Competency forum, who regularly audit and qualify contractors such as ourselves to work for many of the Humber Bank’s process indusrty sites; Blue chip companies such as BP, Total, Phillips 66 and Vitol Power International. In addition to ConCom, Torr are also vetted by and registered with Refcom, the industry F-Gas certification scheme, as appointed by the Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) under the Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases Regulations 2009 to ensure our company supplies engineers who are trained and certificated in the handling and use of fluorinated greenhouse gases. We provide other specialist services to the supermarket sector from complete installations to basic refifts and refrigeration pack detailing to specialist pipe wrapping.
