SITE MANAGERS WANTED – INDUSTRIAL ROOFING & CLADDING (roof refurbishment)
Full Time
We’re on the lookout for Site Managers to join our industrial roofing & cladding team at VBS Ltd.
This is not a desk job — we need someone who knows their way around a live site, can keep things moving, and takes pride in running a tidy, safe, well-organised project.

What we need you to be good at:
• Managing cladding gangs and keeping productivity up
• Organising the day-to-day running of site
• Keeping works on programme
• Sorting deliveries, access, plant and site logistics
• Being the person everyone goes to on site
• Taking pride in standards, safety and quality

Must have:
✔️ SMSTS
✔️ Relevant CSCS card
✔️ Other relevant site qualifications (First Aid, IPAF/PASMA helpful)
✔️ Solid background in industrial roofing & cladding (refurbishment)
✔️ Experience working on asbestos roof refurbishment / overcladding projects

We’re a family-run company delivering large industrial roofing refurbishments — we do things safely, and to a high standard.

Mec Com Fabrications in Stafford appointed VBS Ltd to refurbish their ageing asbestos roof - which had been causing ongoing leaks and deterioration.

The Goal?
✔ Stop water ingress
✔ Improve thermal performance
✔ Prepare the building for solar panel installation
✔ Keep the business fully operational during the works

What We Delivered
🔹 Full asbestos roof over-cladding with 240mm insulation
🔹 Gutter re-lining to prevent future leaks
🔹 Modern GRP rooflight replacements for improved daylight
