This isn't just another paragraph in our RAMS.

This is part of who KingsRock Construction is.

Yes, we build buildings.
But more importantly, we're building a company that genuinely cares about the people behind them.

Every Risk Assessment and Method Statement we produce includes a dedicated section on Health, Wellbeing & Mental Health.

Why?

Because mental health isn't a tick box.
It isn't something we only talk about during Mental Health Awareness Week.

It's part of our everyday conversations.
It's in our toolbox talks.
It's in our site inductions.
It's in our RAMS.
It's in the way we look after each other.

Happy 5th Birthday, KingsRock Construction!

Five years is a huge milestone.

Not because five years is a long time on a calendar, but because of everything that's happened during those five years.

COVID.
Material shortages.
Inflation.
Good and Bad Projects
Labour shortages.
Changing legislation.
Interest rate rises.
Good and Bad Clients
Cashflow pressures.

Yet you're still here. Still growing. Still winning work. Still investing in apprentices. Still improving communities. Still pushing standards higher.

According to the Office for National Statistics, only around 38% of UK businesses are still trading after five years. That means around 62% don't make it this far.

That's something genuinely worth celebrating.

We could have done it without the commitment and dedication of the team and those that have believed in us - Thank you

Last week we had a delivery of over 40 windows from CoastView Windows to our site in and it was on time, efficient and the customer service was fantastic , they even arrived on site to help off load. !!

From one van to three…

Seeing our latest van out on the road is a proud moment.

Every vehicle represents the hard work of our team, the trust our clients place in us, and the journey we’ve been on as a business.

A massive thank you to for bringing our vision to life. We absolutely love the design and the quality of the finish.

It’s easy to see a van as just a van, but for small businesses, moments like this are reminders of how far you’ve come and where you’re heading.

Yesterday we swapped site boots for race suits and headed to Lydd for a bit of well-earned team time

The lads have worked incredibly hard on our current project, and on top of that, they’ve been using lunch breaks and time after work to strip and separate metal from old cables within the building ready for scrap.

Normally, we give the scrap money back to the team as a thank you, but this time we topped it up and decided to do something together instead.

And honestly? Watching 11 grown men including labourers, architects, surveyors chippies and an apprentice, turn into 11 highly competitive children on a go-karting track was absolutely brilliant 😂

For one hour, the pressure of work, life and deadlines disappeared, and everyone just got stuck in, had a laugh, and enjoyed being part of something together.

Team events like this are so important to the culture and longevity of a business. Yes, we build homes, buildings and spaces, but we’re also building a community within our team. Physically and mentally.

As Marcus Aurelius said, “What is not good for the hive is not good for the bee.”
And that’s exactly how we see Team KingsRock, when the team is looked after, the whole business is stronger.

Huge thank you to everyone for your hard work, effort and commitment. We’re proud of the team we’re building and we already can’t wait for the next one.

We were delighted to be entrusted to renovate and restore this beautiful Victoria building in Warrior Square, Hastings
Projects like this are about so much more than paint and repairs. They’re about respecting the history and character of these incredible buildings while ensuring they continue to look their best for years to come.

From the ornate architectural details and decorative mouldings to the balconies, renderwork and finishing touches, our team worked tirelessly to bring this façade back to life. The attention to detail, care and craftsmanship shown throughout the project has been exceptional.

We couldn’t be prouder of the result or the effort that went into achieving it. 👏

A huge thank you to the KingsRock Construction for another fantastic job. Your hard work, skill and commitment continue to make a real difference to the communities and buildings we work on.
