We returned to this project to upgrade the old and tired looking balcony. Our brief was to maximise useable space and mirror the waterfall design of the newly installed main deck. We also made sure the new deck and handrails were all as one for a seamless design

The decking part A

Our Customer came to us wanting the top boards replaced on their existing substructure to refresh their decking ready for summer. We conducted a survey to determine the structural stability of the existing joists, which unfortunately uncovered a lot of rot. Before undertaking the job we discussed the cost and time implications of joist replacement with the customer and worked with them to find a solution which matched their expectations.
