IMechE Young Members West Yorkshire Committee The IMechE West Yorkshire young members committee This is a new young member panel for West Yorkshire area.

This area is quite vast and covers each of the following large towns Huddersfield, Halifax, Wakefield and Dewsbury and surrounding areas. We are currently looking for young people who are in interested in pursuing their careers in Engineering who either already have engineering degrees, or are working towards them. We also encourage all those working within the engineering sector but not office ba

sed engineers to join i.e. technicians or other staff working in an Engineering Environment. However, this panel is not just about careers and work!! You do not have to be a member of the IMechE to join or attend our events and we aim to complete many events, which are fun and interesting and will (occasionally) be based around an Engineering Theme.
