The team at WWB have been super busy delivering this kitchen/diner upscale project just in time for Xmas.

The original roof on this unit was an utter hazard, the joists were fixed with poor support causing stress on the the PVC (worryingly the glass panes were the support), upon removal we also discovered a lack of insulation and that the lights had been wired with flex cable, so many no no's with this one that are all resolved now.
Once the structure was made sound we then proceeded to add the rooflight and replacement door window combo before finishing throughout with fresh F&B paint giving this room a high end finish that oozes warmth and class, handing the final bits over to the external painters and floor guys to complete.

We've teamed up again with our friends at Walkers Windows this week to deliver this grandeur entrance way, dismantling the secondary door setup, installing insulation against the cold wall and finishing finely with a fresh skim of plaster - it looks great!

WOW! Another absolute stunner from the team at WW. Builders 🤩

This project feels extra special to us as we have truly impacted our customers lives in a magical way by allowing them to finally enjoy this space after not being able to use it for so long.

The main requirement for this project was to create a seamless floor from kitchen to garden that would allow wheel chair access and turnability. We swapped out the curved narrow door unit and replaced it with a stunning low threshold patio slider that is easily approachable by all family members.

To create a strong platform we installed our super solid composite decking along with concrete anchors for the stunning glass balustrade that gives this garden a modern look with the feel of relaxing at The Grand Hotel.

Also with this project we;
- rewired some very old wiring to be more practical and safe.
- reinstalled the original patio door into the kitchen to increase thermal efficiency.
- installed a perished gasket beneath the lounge bifold that had plagued the customers all winter with cold breezes.
- installed a dripper, gutter and downpipe after repairing the leaking roof near the entrance door.
- other misc takes included, blocking up a redundant window, installing vent covers for ducts and drainage along with a small bit of painting.

Again this has been a great project for us and we are proud to share it to all. The added bonus here is this is all done in time for summer so it can be used day in day out for the remaining months (providing those pesky rain clouds stay away) 🤗

The team at WWB have been busy bees recently carrying out this snazzy garage to home office conversion.

The original car space has been heavily weather sealed from the ground up boasting high thermal values due to the multilayer insulation requirements highlighted by planning, we found that even on the coldest day of the year this small area of the home produced heat values similar to that of the equator keeping everyone toasty warm during the works 🤗

What a transformation from the team at WW. Builders 🤩

When we first met up with this customer the list of problems just didn't end. We were faced with an incorrectly and highly dangerous balustrade install, an insufficient and rotten decking that had oversized screws in place that were piercing the felt below and an area restricted by objects causing a 30% loss in moveable space.

Our team jumped in to remove all the old timber and remedy the roof to ensure water ingress was no longer a threat through the rainy months.

The balustrade was completely withdrawn for repairs and had additional components fabricated to reinstall inline with the original scope that unfortunately had been steered away from, a) creating a major safety risk and b) opening up the inside for mass water damages, all of which are now rectified by the team at WWB.

Finally to improve the space we sourced a pair of luxurious walk on roof lanterns and fitted them in line with some brand new decking, all mounted on new and sufficient subframes increasing rigidity and enhanced aesthetics leaving this family with a summer spot to enjoy safe and sound 😎
