13 years old and looking like brand new. Well maintained boilers run more efficiently. Less efficient boilers use more oil to keep your house warm. Spaces available for annual services in June and through the summer.

Heating oil prices are inevitably rising due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. This image is not verified pricing but has been doing the rounds in a trade Facebook group.

Whilst prices rise it can be tempting to hold off on ordering. Running your tank dry can be financially worse than simply ordering. You can damage parts like your oil pump, filters and nozzle, replacing those and a call out charge would be over £250. In most cases you need the oil drawn through the empty pipes but that is still a labour charge.

Temperatures are rising but we know Spring can bite back. Please check your tank regularly and make the best decision you can on when to order and when to hold off.
