Happy Friday 😃

After a record week of scrap incomings, we sign off with what I believe is the biggest single piece of scrap we’ve ever had on this yard!

This whopping piece weighs 60 tonnes! 😧

We’ve got some great videos to come showing you all the giant scrap we’ve had in this week (along with some sneaky shear videos here or there 🤭)

Once again I have to give thanks to our customers, suppliers and our terrific team 👏🏻

Ah yes… the glamorous life of a scrapyard director. 😂

Today I’ve operated the crane, driven the forklift, been in the office, swept the floor and made the tea.

All while the British weather has done its absolute best to drown me. 🌧️😂

No job too big.

Apparently no job too small either. ☕️🧹

Just another day in the yard.

There’s been that much oversized scrap in this yard lately, I’m half expecting King Kong to come through the gates next. 😂🦍

Forklifts, tanks, machinery, lorry bodies, you name it, it seems to be getting bigger by the day.

At this point nothing would surprise me.

If Kong does turn up, you already know where he’s going… 👀✂️
