Today we were at a regular customer milling maize, 85 tons (3 artic load) milled in 3 hours 20 minutes and 136 litres of diesel used (1.6 litres per ton).
On farm milling and bruising is proving a big saving for our customers, one of them told us this week he’s saving £8 per ton once we’ve drawn diesel. That’s £224.00 per artic load delivered. How many loads per year are you buying?
