Kinlochshiel 1 v GMA 1
It was a long awaited start to the season, always difficult playing a team with a game under their belt, nerves played a part in the first half, but everyone settled down and got on with the job in hand. GMA scored early with a close range strike from Katie Drain. The game was pretty much end to end with plenty chances for Shiel, it didn’t look to be our day. Hitting the post and multiple saves from Caitlin Much in the GMA goals. Lorna MacRae eventually found a route through to goals and finished well.
Kinlochshiel pushed hard for the remainder of the game, a second goal looked inevitable but just wasn’t to be. GMA weren’t without their chances, a good hard fought match and our first point.
Our player of the match goes to Kacie MacRae, for sweeping up everything at half back in her debut premier game.
