WorkWell Summer BBQ & Games☀️ 🍔

A huge thank you to WorkWell for putting on such a brilliant Summer BBQ & Games afternoon.

From the food to the fun, it was a great way to step away from our desks and spend some time together!

Most importantly, thank you for everything you do behind the scenes to make our office a place people enjoy coming to every day.

It doesn't go unnoticed, and we're lucky to have such a great team looking after us. 👏

Out of office, into the outdoors 🌿

Last week, 10 members of the Smarta team spent the day volunteering with The Conservation Volunteers at Skelton Grange Environment Centre.

It was a really worthwhile day supporting a local environmental project, spending time together as a team and learning more about the work being done to care for and improve green spaces.

Of course, it wouldn’t be the Smarta way without a quick ice cream break… purely to boost productivity.

A big thank you to The Conservation Volunteers and the team at Skelton Grange for having us and making the day so rewarding. 💚

We’re proud to have played a small part in supporting the work they do!

𝗘𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿… 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼.

This week, Ellie’s 12-month placement comes to an end, and we couldn’t let her go without looking back on everything she’s been part of.

From supporting the Finance team day to day, to jumping out of a plane for Cash for Kids North and West Yorkshire, volunteering for Mission Christmas, spending the day with us The Conservation Volunteers, and showing up for every office participation day going… Ellie has thrown herself into it all!

Wellness Wednesdays, football shirt days, team activities, you name it, Ellie got involved. And to top it all off, she was named Employee of the Month, which says everything about the attitude, effort and energy she’s brought with her every day.

She’s been hardworking, positive, reliable, funny and a real part of the team.
We’re going to miss having her around, but we’re so excited to see what she does next. Best of luck with your final year at university, Ellie!

A look back at the Industry Invitational, a day full of golf, good people, big laughs and a whole lot of support for Craig Dunn and his family.

From the first tee to the final bids, every part of the day showed what can happen when the industry comes together for something bigger than business.

And we still have a few more moments to share…

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 ⛳

Yesterday, we were joined by teams from ENGIE Supply UK , NPower, UGP (ENERGY) LIMITED, and Northern Gas and Power for a brilliant day in support of Craig Dunn and his family.

A huge thank you to everyone who played, donated, supported and helped make the event what it was!

The generosity shown throughout the day was incredible, and the auction was a massive success, including an unforgettable £1,000 raised for the chance to pie Kieran Dixon!

A special thank you also goes to SGH Sporting Events and Cookridge Hall Golf Club, for pulling everything together in just 10 days. 👏

We are extremely proud to share that, so far, the event has raised an amazing £13,380 and growing. (Donation link available in the comment section below.)

The support shown for Craig Dunn and his family means a great deal, and we cannot thank everyone enough for being part of it.

A huge well done to everyone involved.

This Wednesday, we’re bringing the industry together for the Industry Invitational, in partnership with SGH Sporting Events, for a day of golf, friendship and fundraising in support of Craig Dunn and his family.

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗱, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 £𝟳𝟱𝟬 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝟰 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿.

The Industry Invitational brings together colleagues, clients and friends from across the energy industry for a charity golf day in support of Craig Dunn and his family. More than a fundraiser, it's a day to celebrate friendship, create lasting memories and stand together when it matters most.

As we get closer to Wednesday 8th July, the Industry Invitational is shaping up to be a fantastic day at Cookridge Hall Golf Club, bringing people together in support of Craig Dunn, his partner Nabela and their daughter Serena.

Alongside the golf, fundraising and on-course competitions, there will be some incredible prizes up for grabs, including:

A trip to the 2027 Masters worth £10,000
TaylorMade 2026 carry bags
Cleveland RTZ wedges
Motocaddy electric trolley
Pro V1s golf balls
Champagne and much more1
