🔨 Another Garage Transformation Completed in Leicestershire!
This project was a complete transformation from start to finish. 👊
We began by removing the old leaking felt roof and rotten fascia boards. Our trusted roofing team then installed new joists, fresh boards, new felt, guttering and finished it with clean white cladding. All backed by a 10-year guarantee for complete peace of mind.
The original garage door was removed and replaced with a carefully matched brickwork panel and a 3-pane white uPVC fire-rated window, ensuring the exterior blended seamlessly with the existing property.
Internally, the layout was thoughtfully reworked. The original doorway into the kitchen was blocked up and a new opening formed at the bottom of the stairs, creating a far more natural flow within the home.
We connected a new drainage run into the existing stack in preparation for the en-suite, followed by first fix plumbing and heating.
The space was then fully rebuilt with:
✔️ A new insulated floating chipboard floor
✔️ Fully insulated stud walls
✔️ New sockets, spotlights and extractor fan
✔️ Mains-powered fire alarms installed to hallway and landing, as required by Building Control.
After the electrical works were completed, the room was plasterboarded and skimmed, ready for final finishes.
We returned to install skirting boards and architraves before completion.
It’s since been decorated in a beautiful sage green perfect finishing touch to the project.
