On Saturday before the England vs Norway match I had one of the proudest moments of my *life. (*Business Life 😆)

I delivered a speech about our company Norton Industrial Fasteners Limited reaching its 50th Birthday and shared a wonderful evening celebrating.

Surrounded by my daughter Molly, son Harrison and wife Emma, as well as family, close friends and the Norton Team.

All of those 26 people now know how much the last 5 years has meant to me and I thank each and all of them for their support.

A special thank you to Jean Norton an absolute legend from a very proud son.

It's not about a month, a quarter or even a year..but we have delivered a 5 year plan that was written down, shared and now we have achieved and delivered.

Norton Industrial Fasteners is a completely different company in 2026 to where it was in 2020.

Unbelievable, especially with all the challenges out there currently and within a SME family business...I could write a small book on those..

A thanks to voco Letchworth Hall for the fantastic venue and hospitality..excellent, just excellent.

Here's to all the people, colleagues, leadership and customers I have met along the way that has shaped me and my business ethos the last 25 years.

Another early & cold start in the Norton Household!

This morning was harder then normal after more then 3 years of living in Yorkshire & growing and supporting a business based in Hertfordshire, aswell as now having 2 Swimmers in the family who are regularly in the Pool by 5am in Leeds.

But seeing both Norton Industrial Fasteners Limited and Molly & Harrison Norton grow and develop I know it's all worth it.

As always, giving everything 100% is all one can do.

Then I remember my mantra and quote by Napoleon Hill.
