Great progress for Biker Group Groundworks over on site in Scarborough, where works are underway to prepare a large open use storage facility. With enabling works, bulk earthworks, drainage and ducting already completed, then the final stages of the scheme will include.

· Supply and install of over 4,000 tonnes of reduced fines aggregate.
· Installation of a surface water attenuation system.
· Installation of concrete plinths to support containers.
· Site entrance works.
· Landscaping and security fencing.

We are delighted to help support Glyn Roberts and the crew as they set off on an epic rowing expedition across the Indian Ocean. Glyn is part of the Brain Waves 2026 Challenge which is a mixed crew of 4 ocean rowing expedition that is rowing completely unsupported, setting off from Exmouth, Australia, the 5500-mile route will see them reach Mombasa, Kenya approximately 90 days later. This is a world first expedition as the first mixed crew to attempt this challenge.

This incredible challenge is attempting to raise £500,000 and awareness for 2 incredible charities – Race Against Dementia & Rock 2 Recovery.

Throughout the Brain Waves Challenge, Monkey First Adventures are conducting research into microplastics and mental health along the way, to benefit people and our planet.

A series of concrete pours have been carried out for a new 23,000 sq ft industrial hub. This included a pour of 307.50 m³ of a C32/40 MCC325 mix with MasterFinish SLB 101 admix, designed to optimise finishability and surface quality of the internal power‑floated floor slab. With the development now nearing completion, we’re proud to have played a part in delivering another high‑quality industrial scheme in the North East.

Biker Bespoke have recently completed a stunning installation featuring their premium bespoke windows and doors.

Situated in a picturesque riverside location, the handsome new build country property was designed in a traditional style with understated elegance.

Biker Bespoke were approached in the early stages of the project to work closely with the client to finalise the design of the external joinery. Our undisputed attention to detail during design process ensured the traditional details and proportions of the windows and doors were all accurately reproduced.

An impressive first impression is created by a striking and traditional styled front door and toplight with intersecting gothic glazing bar configuration

Undoubtedly, a main feature is an array of classically proportioned and fine detailed arched French Doors, which exploit the unique views over the river and gracefully create a smooth transition between the inside and outside.

The refined elegance of our double glazed Accoya box sash windows adorn the facade with their symmetrical proportions and combining traditional aesthetics with modern high performance.

All in all a stunning property!

We are proud to mark the 1-year milestone at the Banks Homes' 109-unit development in Yarm, where the first residents have just moved into their new homes. Over the past year, our Groundworks team has made great progress on site, with each phase bringing us closer to delivering high-quality homes for the community. A huge thank you to all teams and supply chain who have contributed so far. We’re looking forward to the next stages and seeing the project through to completion.

The Haulage and Aggregates team are pleased to welcome a new addition to our growing fleet. Supplied by MAN Truck & Bus, this fierce 32‑tonne tipper is built for heavy‑duty performance and has already been deployed, further expanding our capability to deliver dependable transport for aggregate projects across the North Yorkshire and Teesside regions.

Concrete supplied from our Teesside plant has played a key role in the construction of a major warehouse development in the region. The project involved a series of large-scale, phased pours carried out over multiple days, beginning with the foundations, followed by several power-floated internal floor slabs, and concluding with the external yard areas. Throughout the programme, consistency in both performance and finish was maintained to meet the requirements of the scheme.
