Have you tried Easi-Mat from Palace Chemicals - The original white mat decoupling membrane?

Palace Easi-Mat is a high-performance, three ply fleece uncoupling mat engineered specifically for internal floors. It creates a protective layer between the substrate and the tiled surface, allowing independent movement and significantly reducing the risk of cracks and debonding. The mats low profile - at just 0.7mm, easily accommodates tiling of any type, including mosaics, large format tiles, domestic or commercial and heavy duty applications.

After a fire in 2000 destroyed much of Palace Chemicals’ production capacity, not to be beaten by disaster, we consolidated and rebuilt by investing in new lines with state-of-the art automated equipment. You might not already know that not only were we the first company in the sector to be awarded BS5750 (later upgraded to ISO 9001), we became an ISO 14001 manufacturer in 2004 and were accredited by the BSI to BS OHSAS 18001 Health & Safety Management System in 2014, which was then updated to ISO 45001 in 2018.
