Building a legacy for the future - while respecting the past.

The complete refurbishment of the amazing Palladian Banqueting House in London involved the complete replacement of the building services.

All new pipework and the inclusion of heat pumps to bring the building up to modern energy efficiency standards was part of the deal.

No hot works in this historic building, of course, so press technology was the obvious solution. In this case, a combination of stainless steel Sanpress Inox, Copper Profipress and flexible, mutli-layer Smartpress for the particularly hard-to-reach spaces.

How are you reducing risk in retrofit projects?

As systems age, the risks of corrosion, failures, and leaks rises. And when the pipework does eventually fail, it's a race against the clock to get the system up and running.

Modern press connection systems are making it faster (and safer) to repair systems. Without the use of flux, or hot works, there's no need for long shut-down periods. Simply cut out the damaged pipework and press in the new system.
