We were delighted to supply our PAS 115 to City of Trees for a tree planting project in Trafford Park, where it will help support the growth of newly planted trees.

It's always great to see our product being used in projects like this. Turning road sweepings into a topsoil comparator which meets BS3882:2015 is a practical example of the circular economy in action, helping to create greener urban spaces while giving waste a valuable new purpose.

A big thank you to City of Trees for choosing us to work with them on this project and thank you to Trafford Council, along with the UK Government for funding the project. We're proud to play a small part in creating a greener future, one tree at a time. 🌳♻️

The heat of the day was quenched with plenty of nice cold Guinness courtesy of CDE.

UBU are proud owners of a CDE wet waste treatment plant which will celebrate its 10 year commissioning anniversary later this year!

UBU are proud to support The Shed.

The Shed, founded by Salford Foundation, is a fantastic charity based in Salford that supports the wellbeing of vulnerable and socially isolated men.

It is truly inspiring to see the impact of the work that takes place there. From cooking classes, bike repair workshops, arts and crafts, counselling and so much more. The Shed provides opportunities for men to learn new skills, build confidence, and connect with others.

Having a safe and supportive place to learn and socialise helps them on their journey back into society and employment.

We are delighted to support The Shed through the sponsorship of its food pantry and hygiene corner, helping ensure that men can access essential food and toiletries when they need them most.

This week, UBU had the opportunity to demo a KaiserWhale Tanker, an innovative continuous water recycling system 🐳

Equipped with a Rotomax filtration system, it separates debris from suctioned water and filters it down to 500 microns, allowing the water to be reused immediately for jetting.

The impact is significant: it can save millions of litres of water per year.

What an exciting piece of machinery to have on site 🤩
