Working for a key client - Benniman Construction Group Ltd - the project in Wolverhampton included an extension to the existing manufacturing plant, and a new-build despatch warehouse for Task Consumer Products.

Works commenced in May for a 20-week period.

The extension building is a full Kingspan RW system and the new-build warehouse is Kingspan RW walls and TATA Trisobuild built-up barrel roof System.

The new-build warehouse has an additional transport office clad in Kingspan FL wall panels and a Kingspan Topdek roof.

The main office is also clad with Kingspan FL wall panels, complete with feature portico cladding and double radius aluminium fascias creating a striking architectural statement complimented by a curved glass balustrade

Work is now well underway on the new Cardiff Arena - a
16,500 capacity venue which will transform the city’s entertainment offering.

FK Group has assisted with the early Stage 3/4 design working with McLaren Construction Group and Populous to develop a workable design intent, meeting specification and regulation. As part of this process we developed our own bespoke acoustic ceiling cassette product which involved significant design collaboration, development, and testing.

We are now well into the Stage 4/5 construction design phase and working through the detailed design, scheduling and fabrication phase of the project.

Fabrication of the more than 500 ceiling cassettes is now underway at our factory and we are targeting a start on site in Q1 2026.

Works progressing well on our site on Clement’s Road, Bermondsey.

There is a huge regeneration ongoing for this part of south London with many developments in the vicinity.

FK Group is working with main contractor McLaren Construction Group on the project which will encompass a commercial area with shops, and residential apartments.

Unitised panel installation on the 44 storey tower at St Michael’s Manchester has started – only 3,400 panels left to go!!

Podium works are almost complete, and this prestigious project is really starting to take shape.

It’s great to see the structure rising above the neighbouring buildings.

Fantastic to see the Fusion Project shimmering in the Mancunian winter sunshine.

FK Group is installing the last levels of façade from the screens on L26 & L27, prior to all screens being removed early December.

We will be continuing the high level terrace and roof rainscreen, unitised installation and ground floor entrance screens into the new year. With planned façade completion in March 2026.

Scaffolding is coming down at the FK Resolv site at Whitgift Street in Croydon.

The job involved fire remediation work for L&Q on a part public sector, part residential development.
