A fantastic play by the Royal Exchange Theatre

We make all kinds of pianos, but this one was special for many reasons. It was for the Royal Exchange where I started my career 17 years ago, it had to collapse on queue by way of electromagnets and be wheeled on and off stage between acts, and it was for a wonderful designer, whom, somehow I’ve never managed to build something for before.

Not only did we get to invited to see the show (rare occurrence these days) but Dick spent his time making something rather wonderful to thank us for our work on the piano (very rare) so thank you and I hope you don’t mind me sharing this 🙏 we won’t forget this one!

A huge portion of our year has been spent making props for our first job being multiple illusion ideas back in February. Throughout the year we’ve made various furniture and illusion pieces and of course I can’t share the illusion pictures, but here are some workshop shots of props we can share. Immensely proud to have been a part of this huge new West End show and hoping it has a very successful future! A huge thank you to Mary Halliday for getting us involved. Hopefully some nice production shots will emerge over the coming months 🤞

We ended 2022 with a few really exciting projects. One of those was the Disney musical. As well as the cart we made 8 Oak veneer tapered leg tables. Each with a hidden steel armature running down each leg. The tops were brushed aluminium, nailed onto a solid top. Thanks to for the fantastic photos and a huge thanks to for getting us involved. Looking forward to 2023 and all the projects it has in store.

We ended 2022 with a few really exciting projects. One of those was the Disney musical. As well as the cart we made 8 Oak veneer tapered leg tables.
