surised heating systems. In addition, we have extensive knowledge of boosted water technology and controls, single or multi pump including PLC and variable speed drives. We also have several WRAS accredited RPZ valve testers for all makes of RPZ valve assemblies which require annual test and certification in accordance with AIM08 (WRAS Regulations). PressBoost know it is essential to maintain pressure vessels on a regular basis as the gas charge is critical to the good operation of the plant and to guarantee and extend the longevity of the equipment. In conjunction with this it should be noted that there are mandatory and statutory requirements under the P.S.S.R 2000 regulations, therefore we offer, fixed price standard maintenance packages on a bi-annual basis. Our engineering team at PressBoost is taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge on 2nd July to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
Andrew Shelley, Carl Rogerson, Antony Chesters, John Murphy, Will Thomas, Kieran Shields and Alfie Chesters will be attempting to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours. Starting at around 3AM in Scotland, they’ll take on all three peaks back-to-back, with Chris Brown and Adam Brown supporting on the road between climbs.

It’s a tough challenge, but it’s for an important cause ❤️

We installed this twin-pump Grundfos Hydro Multi E set at a hotel in Wi******er working with Hydraclean Ltd who carried out the whole turnkey project converting the hotel to boosted supply.

The Grundfos range of booster sets are a premium, high efficient product and provided the right solution for this project!

Installed and commissioned by John Murphy. Another install ticked off as we have booster sets flying out the door at present! (Hard to keep up with the marketing!).

Water Damaged Booster Set - Emergency Repairs 🔧 🚨

Whilst we often show off complete booster set installations, we carry out a wide array of repair works.

It’s sometimes easy to show the shiny new installs as they garner interaction on socials.

However, this job shows our speed in a crisis! We were contacted by one of our oldest customers to say they had no water to a 450 room hotel! We attended the same day and found all 4no. Pumps dead on arrival as well as the control panel. It was very clear by the water coming out of the inverter drives that they had suffered extensive water damage. It transpired that a resident flooded a room above and it leaked through the ceiling into the basement plantroom and took out the pump set.

We completed this job in 2 parts. Working with Xylem UK we quickly sourced 2no. 11kW inverters and our friends at Pump Solutions sourced 2no. 11kW inverters and mechanical seals. We attended the following day and got 2 pumps back up and running, restoring much needed supply and peace for the on site team.

The set coped comfortably on two pumps, so we planned the return visit in for a convenient time. We then completed the same installation and restored the set to full working order. What started out as an emergency repair has converted the set from obsolete, to a cost effective solution extending its life for years to come!

Something we often forget to share / shout about is RPZ Valves.

RPZ Valves are critical kit and are arguably more widely used than ever.

The provide Category 4 backflow protection and help manage the risk of backflow where contamination could occur.

We supply, install, commission and test RPZ Valves nationwide. At present we have 3no. Approved Testers and provide this service for a wide range of customers.

It is a statutory requirement to get RPZ Valves tested annually, many people overlook this asset or negate their requirements under the Water Regulations.

You will commonly find RPZs installed as dedicated supplies, cleaning facilities and filling loops on closed systems to name a few.

We can guide you with regards your responsibilities under the regulations and provide cost effective testing & remedial actions.
This installation was completed at a Medical Testing facility in by our engineer Andy Shelley.

Lifecycle Booster Set Installation - Salford Tower Block 🏙️

We recently installed this 3-pump Xylem hydrovar® X Booster Set at a tower block in Salford as part of planned lifecycle works.

The existing set was 15 years old and the client decided it was time for replacement. This also ties in with other retrofit works they are completing on the block.

The hydrovar® X provides a highly energy efficient, user friendly an modern solution that is a true upgrade.

These works were completed during normal working hours in a planned interruption. We provided bottled water for residents and had this completed in a 4 hour window.

Our engineers Carl Rogerson, Antony Chesters and Alfie Chesters made light work of it and the finished product is a very smart install.

Media City - Replacing Obsolete and failing 3-pump Booster Set

The Xylem Hydrovar X booster sets are quite literally flying out at the moment!

We installed this set at Media City to replace an obsolete and failing Armstrong set that had caused issues for years.

The new set is IE5 rated and one of the leading units on the market. We completed this project OOH through the night due to the nature of the building.

The set itself was in a bund with a 1 metre wall all round so presented its own install challenges! However, our engineers Antony Chesters, John Murphy and Kieran Shields completed a really smart install an restored water within plenty of time!

We recently completed this large twin H-Line Project in West Yorkshire.

This was our first project for the site, which we have now picked up the Bi-annual maintenance for as well!

The existing Pressmain GV100 and SA10 units had served the rest of time and come due for replacement. We were actually the last ones through the door but managed to secure the order for the right upgrade for site.

The H-Line is a modern dynamic spill and fill. On this installation we managed to utilise all the existing plinth space and keep the retrofit in keeping with the existing plant space.

We installed a temporary pressure unit for the duration of the works due to the criticality of the hospital to ensure no disruption, allowing all works to be completed in normal working hours.

The smart installations were completed by our engineers Antony Chesters, Carl Rogerson, Kieran Shields and Alfie Chesters over the course of 3-days.
