Recently completed flat roof refurbishment by the team at WFR.
This project involved a full strip-back of the existing roof, removing all failed felt membranes, contaminated insulation, and strammit board decking.
We then carried out a complete rebuild, installing:
New 18mm OSB decking
New timber check kerbs
Self-adhesive vapour control layer
130mm bitumen-coated PIR insulation (significant thermal upgrade)
SBS torch-applied underlayer
Finished with a premium 5mm SBS charcoal-grey capsheet
The existing fascia and soffits were removed and replaced with brand-new, clean-line installations to complete the transformation.
The adjoining garage received the same full specification, ensuring the entire building was unified and fully refurbished to the same high standard.
Despite challenging weather conditions at points during the installation, each phase was carefully sealed and managed to prevent delays or compromise — allowing us to deliver a pristine, professional final result without setbacks.
