Alongside Dave Philips’ successful appointment to the BAMA Board, we’re also delighted to celebrate Karl Owen, our Liquid / Blending Site Manager, who was named a finalist in the ‘Aerosol in Action’ photography competition at the BAMA Forum.

A proud moment for Reabrook at the BAMA Forum!

Today, our Managing Director, Kat Minshull, and Head of Technical, Dave Philips, attended the BAMA Forum, bringing together expertise from across the aerosol industry.

We're delighted to share that Dave has been successfully voted onto the BAMA Board, representing Reabrook!

PFAS has become one of the biggest conversations in manufacturing. But this isn't a new issue.

PFAS materials have been used for decades because they solved very real technical challenges, including water repellence, stain resistance, durability and, in some applications, flammability control.

What's changing is the pressure around them because regulation is evolving and consumer awareness is growing.

But for us, this isn't an issue because… we did the work – early.

Following a multi-year technical programme, Reabrook stopped formulating and manufacturing PFAS ingredients in December 2025 and completed the transition across all Reabrook liquid and aerosol formulations.

The question for manufacturers and business owners is no longer whether PFAS transition needs to be considered, it’s what comes next.

Celebrating the people who make Reabrook what it is.

Today, we had the pleasure of celebrating some very special milestones at Reabrook with our Long Service Awards.

From 10 to an incredible 40 years of service, these awards recognise the commitment, knowledge and contribution of colleagues across our business.

A huge congratulations to:

🏆 40 years - Simon Staley
🏆 20 years - Carola Matkin, Administrator
🏆 10 years - Jeremy Moore, Product Manager; Amy Edlin and Simon Shuttleworth from Technical; Dawid Szokalo, Edlie Bartolome, Elzbieta Meller, Paul Shuttleworth and Magdalena Bernaciak-Wrzesinska from Aerosols; Ewa Klary & Adam Milner from Liquids; and Dominika Dalasinska from Administration.

We celebrated together over lunch, with each recipient receiving a special gift to mark their years of service, along with an engraved glass and bottle as an additional thank-you.

40 years is an incredible achievement, but every milestone matters. These are the people whose experience, dedication and hard work help shape Reabrook every day.

Good food. Great entertainment. Plenty of laughs. And, most importantly, great people.

Our Western-themed Employees Day was all about giving the Reabrook team the chance to relax, have fun and celebrate everything we achieve together.

A huge thank you to the local businesses who helped make the day special, including Pizza Levio Ltd, The Pit & Platter, Ells Mr Whippy Ice Creams, Camion Events Catering Ltd, Top Kat Party Band, Mick Wright Caricatures and Deal a Party Fun Casino Hire.

And a special thank you to everyone at Reabrook who joined in and helped create such a fantastic atmosphere.

Our multi-year PFAS replacement programme included the development of alternative systems for:

👟 Footwear, textiles and upholstery
Using advanced siloxane technologies and microfine ceramic lattice structures to deliver durable hydrophobic performance while maintaining the feel and flexibility of treated materials.

🚗 Automotive protection
Developing systems incorporating amino functional siloxanes, ceramic polysiloxanes and graphene-enhanced hydrophobic technologies for durability, gloss and protective performance.

⚡ Aerosol electrical cleaners and degreasers
Developing alternative propellant systems to meet demanding flame projection requirements without the use of PFAS gases.

This is what PFAS transition looks like beyond the headline.

Different chemistry. Different applications. Different technical challenges.

But one objective: PFAS-free formulations that do not compromise the performance required by the end user.
