Call me Mr Lucky.
Just started a new demolition job in Coventry and found 9 brand new carpet tiles with this pattern which was perfect because I only needed 9 to do the van.
I don't think my wildest imagination could have thought of a better colour scheme to match the van either.
I think they look smart.

This is the full van build.
It was a rush job and I only got the van a month ago.
I have done a lot of mechanical work and been away in it once already in Aberdeen.
It's cold up there but I was toastie.
It's fully loaded now with solar and a hybrid MPPT inverter giving me 1kw of 240 volt power.
3 x 230ah batteries for power storage.
2 hobs for cooking and a diesel heater for warmth.
She is a home from home.
Not altogether beautiful but absolutely practical.
It has everything i need and was all built by myself.

Built a bit of overhead storage.Can't be wasting any space. 😁

I apologise for being quiet for two weeks but I have some big bills to pay and need to work away for a while to earn some big money.
I have been busy kitting out the van for remote work.
I hope to be back in the handyman business in the new year.
We're all feeling the financial pinch now and needs must.
I appreciate the interest and I love fixing things for locals, doing my bit for the community I love but I need to go and earn some serious money before the end of the year.
With a bit a luck I will be financially stable in the new year and give this business my full attention.

Had a quiet afternoon so did some repairs and cosmetic work on the van.
Replaced the Glow Plug wiring loom, got rid of the rusty bits and repaired the interior light.
Stuck VCDS on it and did some engine diagnostics.
I have always worked in industries where reliability and punctuality are essential.
So you need reliable transport.
