We have been slacking on socials lately, but we've been hard at work. This week we installed an in-roof solar system with battery backup for a customer experiencing frequent power outages. This system is not only sustainable but also provides whole-house backup during power cuts.

We used a solar panel mounting system that replaces the original roofing tiles. While this house had a perfectly good roof, the customer chose this system for the aesthetic edge it has over traditional rails.

This method is a cost-effective option if your roof needs replacing.

In the winter, when those photons are in short supply, a greater number of panels on your roof will ensure maximum use of the low light, and by switching to a cheap night time tariff, such as Octopus Go by or Economy 7, you can charge your battery overnight and use it power your house throughout the day
