Chassis no1 is now complete and off to the powdercoaters. All moulds, jigs and templates have either been re-comissioned or re-newed. Chassis no2 is cut ready to be started shortly.

Once its back from powdercoating, it will be assembled into a rolling chassis and displayed alongside a bare chassis at the 750mc Cadwell weekend 18th-19th July.

The mock up is now complete on our RJR Procomp Ma7da, and its now time to strip it down for welding then off to paint. One of the final assemblies I have been working on has been the pedal box. I wanted to keep all 3 pedals floor mounted but due to the location of the Mx-5 slave cylinder, modifications had to be made to the clutch mechanism. I used a clutch master cylinder from VW transporter mounted to the chassis behind the engine mount, this activated by a push rod which is lowered to the same plane with a pivot arm behind the pedals and the new design seems to work well. Our planned launch is the 750mc Cadwell weekend in July, but our Staffordshire based workshop door is always open to anyone interested in our cars and what we are trying to achieve. Within our stable we currently support 3 out of the 4 kitcar based championships run by the 750mc. RJR....."Quality Championship winning racecars at sensible prices"

With the off season fast approaching, anyone involved with motor racing begin to think of giving their cars a few upgrades and some well deserved TLC.

Last week I announced I had taken over the Procomp Locost and LA Gold projects, and have been working through some pricing. I've still a lot of work to do before i can share a full price list but for now you will find the prices of some common parts you will most likely need for your winter rebuild.

We are pleased to announce, RJR Motorsport Fabrications has recently acquired the manufacturing rights to the Procomp Locost, LA Gold and GT (formally the Lynx LM1300)

Over the last few weeks, we have been collecting numerous body moulds, chassis and suspension jigs, drawings and plans that Matt and his Father Ivan had developed after a lifetime building and running their locost based kitcars in various championships.

Initially we intend to support exisiting owners by supplying spare parts for the Locost and LA Gold, including Procomp's FIA approved ROPs certificated Rollcage.

Over the next few weeks we plan to release details and prices for our body and chassis kits, which will be available to order for 750mc Locost, 750mc Ma7da Sevens, and 750mc Sports specials.

Our plans for the GT have to be finalised, but our thoughts of a Prosport-esque design with car engined power being favoured over the current motorcycle power. Updates to follow.
