Another day, another Peugeot 1.6 HDI engine with Adblue issues.

Found in the 208, 308, Partner Van and many other models across the Peugeot/Citroën range, this engine seems to be one of the most prone to Adblue issues.

Customer opted for one of our Adblue solutions, as opposed to spending hundreds on replacing the faulty parts

Collected from the customers home, solution applied, and returned, all before lunchtime

2021 Q5 in today for a DPF clean🧽

This customer got in touch as they had warning lights on their dashboard

A quick look on the diagnostic computer showed a severely blocked DPF.

High soot content (over 40 grams) and a pressure reading over 4 times what a healthy reading should be.

We broke out the Tunap, which is one of the best products on the market and carried out an on car clean. We also removed the EGR valve and cleaned it too, as it would only be a matter of time before it started to malfunction

Soot content after cleaning less than 2 grams and a perfectly healthy pressure reading, saving this customer from an expensive replacement DPF

Today we had a Peugeot 308 in with some faults relating to the Eloys fluid(early version of an Adblue system)

Unfortunately the tank had suffered extensive damage and was beyond repair.

The customer decided to have one of our cost effective additive solutions applied, as opposed to an expensive replacement tank

Today's job, a DPF deep clean on a Peugeot 308 1.6 HDI GT line.

This car came in with the engine management light on, and down in power.

We found fault codes showing a blocked DPF and a quick check on live data, showed a high pressure reading of 59 mbar, much too high.

We carried out an on car clean, using one of the best products on the market, Tunap, and as you can see in the images, the pressure after cleaning is a much healthier 14 mbar, a great result

Another day, another Citroen Berlingo/Peugeot Partner in the garage

This little van came in with a few issues and was down in power, but no fault codes or warning lights on the dash

After a little investigating, we discovered it had been previously remapped poorly and had alot of faults hidden and fault codes just deleted instead of being addressed and fixed

We flashed it back to standard, fixed the hidden issues, and applied our tried and tested EGR and DPF solution.
