Today’s project was creating a solid oak desk for a home office, complete with floating oak shelves above.

Using oak upstands and matching oak end panels helped tie the whole look together, before finishing everything with coats of Osmo oil for a finish that really brings out the depth and character of the grain.

One of the last jobs of 2025!
Love this one, turning a room into a living space full of character.

The customer wanted a “real feel” feature piece for the living room. We installed a classic black granite hearth with a solid oak mantel, finished with hidden warm lighting to highlight the brick details 👌
