This was us at MACH 2024. A lot has changed since then.

Two years on, DynamxMFG has moved on significantly, the team has grown, and we're heading back to the NEC more ready than ever.

Check back on Sunday to see how Stand 17-259 is taking shape ahead of the show. We open on 20 April (Monday) and we'll be there all week.

If you were with us in 2024, we hope to see you again. If you've never stopped by, this is the year to change that.

We had a brilliant time at Advanced Engineering at the end of last year, and it's got us even more excited for what's coming.

MACH 2026 is now just 5 days away and we can't wait to get back on the show floor, meet new faces, and have insightful conversations with the people building things in this country!

If you're heading to the NEC from 20-24 April, come and find us at Stand 17-259.

A facility move is already a big undertaking. Elite Skills Arena decided to introduce a new system at the same time.

Amy and the team needed a system that worked for both the office and the shop floor, and one that brought everyone along for the journey.

That's exactly what happened.

From getting the office set up to involving the guys on the shop floor, DynamxMFG fitted around how they work, not the other way round.

If you're scaling up and wondering whether now is the right time to digitise production, it usually is. Watch Amy explain why.

One week until MACH 2026 kicks off at The Nation's Experience Capital !

We'll be at Stand 17-259 from 20-24 April. If you're attending and want to see what a MES built specifically for UK SME manufacturers looks like in practice, come and speak to us.

Drop a comment if you're attending and we'll keep an eye out for you.

Most manufacturing businesses run in fragments.

The shop floor doesn't talk to the office.
The office doesn't talk to purchasing.
Purchasing doesn't talk to dispatch.

And somewhere in the gap between all of them, time gets lost, mistakes get made, and nobody has the full picture.

The fix isn't a meeting.
It's connection.

When a delivery arrives, the system should already know.
The supplier is logged. The goods are received. The invoice becomes payable automatically, without a phone call or a spreadsheet update or someone remembering to tell someone else.

Same when something leaves the building.

That kind of connected factory starts on the shop floor with interfaces simple enough that anyone can use them and flows up into the management systems that planners and administrators rely on.

One version of events.
No gaps.
No lag.

How much time does your business lose to information that exists somewhere but never reaches the right person?

Three weeks until MACH 2026.

If you're attending and want to talk shop floor visibility, job costing, or getting a manufacturing system live in 90 days, come and find us.

Stand 17-259, NEC Birmingham.

We'll have the system running live.
Bring your questions, your scepticism, and your current process.

We find the best conversations happen when someone walks up and says "we're still on spreadsheets and it's becoming a problem."

That's exactly who we built DynamxMFG for.

20-24 April. Free to attend. Registration link in the comments.

Some of our customers will be walking the floor at MACH 2026.

Manufacturers who went from spreadsheets to real-time visibility.
From gut-feel quoting to accurate job costing.
From fire-fighting on the shop floor to knowing exactly where every job is, every hour of the day.

If you want to know what that transition actually looks like, not from us, but from the people who've been through it, come and find us.

Stand 17-259
NEC Birmingham
20-24 April

It's free to attend, registration link in the comments.

The best conversations we have at events start with "we've got a problem that sounds a bit like..."

We'll see you there.

The biggest fear with any new system isn't the cost.

It's going live and realising it doesn't actually fit how you work.

That the workflows make sense to the developers but nobody on the floor will use them.
That the layout was designed for a demo, not a real production environment.

Amy's team at Elite Skills Arena needed something intuitive enough that adoption wouldn't be a battle.

Logical workflows.
Built around how manufacturing actually runs.
A team that took the time to understand their operation before going live.

That's the difference between a system that gets used and one that quietly gathers dust.

Is adoption the part of software implementations that worries you most?

| | | |

25/03/2026

The average ERP implementation takes 18 months.

18 months of consultants.
18 months of disruption.
18 months before you see a single result.

And at the end of it, half of them fail to deliver what was promised.

We've spoken to dozens of manufacturers who've been through it.

The war stories are remarkably similar.

Scope crept.
Staff hated it.
The system didn't fit how they actually worked.
They went live, eventually, and then spent another year trying to make it useful.

There's a better way.

90 days to go-live.
No 12-month discovery phase.
No army of external consultants.
A system built around how a job shop actually runs.

One of our clients, Maeving, described the setup as quick, support readily available, and excellent value for money.

That's what implementation should feel like.

If your last software project took longer than 6 months and still isn't fully adopted, you didn't have a software problem.

You had an implementation problem.

What killed the last system you tried to roll out?

There's a myth that digital transformation is an enterprise game.

That SMEs have to wait.
Watch what the big players do.
Then try to afford a scaled-down version of it three years later.

It's wrong.

SMEs have an advantage that no enterprise can buy back.

Agility.

Fewer layers of sign-off.
Fewer hearts and minds to bring along.
The ability to implement, adopt, and move faster than any large organisation can manage.

The manufacturers who recognise that right now are the ones who will pull ahead.

AI and machine learning are still scratching the surface of what's possible in manufacturing technology.

The window to get ahead of it is open.

The question isn't whether your business is big enough to compete digitally.

It's whether your leadership team is moving fast enough to take the opportunity.

Are SME manufacturers underestimating their own advantage right now?

| | | | |

23/03/2026

"We're not ready for this yet."

It's one of the most common things we hear from manufacturers considering a move away from spreadsheets.

But how do you know if you're ready?

That's not a rhetorical question.
There's actually an answer.

Our Digital Readiness Assessment gives you a clear, honest read on where your operation sits right now and what ready actually looks like for a business at your stage.

Some manufacturers take it and realise they're further along than they thought.
Others find it useful just to name the gaps clearly for the first time.

Either way, it's a better starting point than guessing.

Free. No forms. Link in the comments.
