We realise the potential issues that can arise with cold weather, and that salt spreading is a vitally important way of ensuring that traffic movements and people’s safety are quickly brought back to satisfactory levels. Some of our existing clients have to grit for insurance purposes when the temperature is 1degree or below but maybe its for a specific reason or just because the weather is looking particularly bad.
Our weather reactive gritting services are run via notifications of frost and ice for your location, provided by professional MET Office reports. These reports will allow us to monitor the commercial forecasts for your postcode area. You only pay per treatment and all costs are agreed in advance.
We can carry out weather reactive gritting services automatically overnight to minimise disruption as required, giving you peace of mind during the winter period. We can spread rock salt mainly by foot with our push along machines, so we can tackle any areas you may need de-icing – large to small. We can also provide vehicle services for larger areas like carparks.
We are also available for call out winter grounds maintenance and during the working week and out of hours as needed.
