I though this article is interesting if your thinking of fitting solar panels with a battery. We can fit panels on their own, and we can add a battery later to an existing system, but for the most part clients are asking us to fit a battery at same time as the solar panels. We have a range of sizes, and plenty of experience and tools that allow us to determine the size of the battery that is right for your home.

We have been very busy this winter installing solar on peoples houses. Not always the best time of year for us as installers, but does mean the house owner is ready for a summer of sunshine and free energy. The pictures below show an on roof Eurener installation with a SolaX inverter. We changed the bird blocker for this design to give a cleaner installation as per the customers requirements. As you see we also made a custom box to disguise the inverter and battery. One of our strengths is our ability to customise the design to match the clients needs, rather than a limited number of off the peg designs which are never a perfect match.

Its been a very busy winter so far, with plenty of impressive solar installations in and around Oxford. At this home we fitted 16 Spanish made Eurener panels connected to a SolarEdge battery and inverter. Even in low light levels the system has been performing really well, a testimony to the efficiency of modern panels. In the evening, when the sun has set and demand is highest the battery comes into its own, allowing the household to avoid consuming grid electricity when the tariff is at its highest.

In roof Spanish made Eurener solar panels using GSE mounting system and SolarEdge Technologies Inc. battery, inverter and EV charger. We are very proud of this installation, it looks neat and is already producing a lot of low carbon free electricity for the household. Oh, and we do fit bat or bird boxes whilst we are up on the roof if the client requests it, nice to do something for biodiversity as well as climate change.

An installation we completed this summer, don't think there is much spare room of this roof. We always try and fit as many panels as possible, its good for the home owner in terms of financial reward and good for the planet. These are Eurener Nexa 450W panels mounted in roof using trays, connected to a SolarEdge Technologies Inc. inverter and battery. Its a great south facing pitch harvesting an abundance of power. The addition of a battery allows the home owner to continue running the house on free electricity once the sun sets. We are happy to work on any installation to maximize the financial returns and carbon saving.
