🎄 Christmas Saved — Literally 🎄

It was Christmas Eve, and a local family were left without heating or hot water after their boiler was found to be unsafe as the main heat exchanger had melted, releasing carbon monoxide! To add to the headache, the boiler had been fully tiled in!

With temperatures dropping and Christmas morning hours away, leaving it wasn’t an option. After confirming the risk and explaining the situation clearly, we got straight to work — sourcing parts, removing the dangerous boiler, and installing a safe, reliable replacement the same day.

Upon completion, the house was warm, hot water was back on, and Christmas could go ahead as planned. That’s what matters.

This is exactly why boiler safety checks are so important — carbon monoxide and faulty appliances are no joke, especially in winter. If something doesn’t feel right, don’t ignore it.

Heat pump repair this week!

This week we attended a call out to this Daikan heat pump which had faulted.
After stripping it down and carrying out some fault finding with a multimeter, we found it required two new fan motors and a dc pcb board.
Now back up and running, This pump is 11 years old, so the original motors did well.
