While servicing this oil boiler I found this potentially dangerous flue. The installer had screwed into an open flued boilers flue pipe. This was causing the flue to rust and allowing the potential for fumes to leak.
I replaced the damaged flue parts and installed ventilation that hadn’t been installed to make the boiler safe.

Hot water cylinder upgraded to a unvented cylinder. This new system gives much better hot water pressure and is more efficient.
