Friday’s Town Hall was a great opportunity to bring everyone together, share the latest news from across Sotech and take a moment to celebrate some special milestones within the team.
Dougy celebrated an incredible 40 years with Sotech. Four decades is quite an achievement! Having worked on our guillotine for many years, Dougy's keen eye for detail and precision have helped us get the best utilisation from our material and, most importantly, get things right. It was great to recognise such a fantastic milestone with a fantastic guy.
Lee also reached an amazing 30 years with Sotech. With a wealth of experience across systems, materials, testing and product development, Lee has played an important role in making sure our products perform as they should. His attention to detail and technical expertise have been a real asset to Sotech. 30 years is a fantastic achievement and one that is very well deserved.
We also celebrated Claire’s 32 years with Sotech. Over more than three decades, she has built up a wealth of knowledge and experience, making a real contribution to the business and the people around her. From looking after the pennies to creating marketing material that represents Sotech today, there's certainly been plenty of variety along the way! A brilliant and greatly appreciated achievement.
And this Friday, we’ll be saying “see you soon” to Ellie-Mae, as she heads off on maternity leave. Ellie has been a valued part of the team, with her attention to detail helping keep our orders running smoothly, co-ordinating with different departments making sure everything is where it needs to be. She’ll be a huge miss, but we’re all so excited for her and this next chapter.
Different roles, different skills and plenty of experience between them, but one thing they all have in common — they’re safe hands.
