From socks and hats to jumpers and backpacks - the team have found their best pink outfits, to raise money for Breast Cancer Now.

We had a great time over lunch, with games, a pink sweepstake, guess the chest, and the best dressed! There were also plenty of home baked treats to buy, all helping to raise money for a great cause.

Together, we raised £252 and Sotech will be matching the amount, bringing our total donation to £504!

A huge thank you to everyone who got involved, donated, baked and helped organise the afternoon. It was great to see everyone coming together, having a laugh and raising money for such an important cause.

A golden beacon on the Hartlepool waterfront.

Hartlepool Highlight Leisure Centre shows how façade design can respond to its surroundings, while reflecting the character and history of the local area.

Working alongside Chemplas Limited, Sotech provided around 2000m2 of Optima Shingles, finished in various anodised shades from Alumet creating a unique patchwork style to the overall façade changing throughout the day as the light moves across the shingles.

From the archives: A façade designed to light up Leeds.

For this £60 million arena, Sotech manufactured more than 400m² of bespoke perforated aluminium feature panels, incorporating intricate 9mm perforations across a complex range of shapes and sizes.

Combined with backlighting, the perforated panels create a striking illuminated façade after dark, adding another dimension to the building and its place within the Leeds skyline.

And our work in the area didn’t stop there. Since completing the arena, we’ve gone on to deliver façade solutions for Unite White Rose and Cirrus Point, both located just across the road.

A project that showcases the combination of bespoke design, precision manufacturing and architectural detail that continues to be at the heart of what we do.

Located in the heart of Sheffield, these distinctive residential towers combine bespoke and standard Optima solutions to create a striking façade, while providing modern accommodation and amenities for students.

Sotech's first project with Hamilton First Building Contractors, with our team involved from the early design stages through to completion.

Working closely with the project team, we provided technical support and developed a combination of Optima systems to help deliver the architect’s vision – demonstrating the flexibility of our façade solutions when different finishes, details and applications come together on one project.
