Last Friday we finished this lovely fit in Dawlish!
With 2 velux windows being fitted on the same elevation we had use larger panels to achieve maximum output. This solar set has;
6 X 530W panels ✅
1 X 3.6Kw hybrid inverter ready for a battery at a later stage ✅
1 X new garage board ✅
Meets new PAS fire regulations ✅
The fire brigade have recently voiced their concerns about li-ion batteries being fitted in lofts. This installation meets all their new guidelines. This requires extra effort channeling across paths for cable runs. What it has done, is freed up the cupboard where the old inverter was; also keeping another cupboard free where we were going to site the new set.
We not only fit Solar, we have it on our own houses!
This month, the sun’s irradiation levels are starting increase with the better weather and longer days. I personally, for the first month this year, am now free of any electrical charges 😁. A combination of solar panels, a battery combined with an octopus energy tarriff can totally clear your energy bills for over half of the year! The rest will achieve vast reductions.
