A proper heating & hot water upgrade in Lower Parkstone, Poole 🔥🚿

Another great installation completed by Jacques last week, with a new boiler and unvented hot water cylinder installed for our customer in Lower Parkstone.

There’s a lot more to an installation like this than simply swapping the boiler 👀

From the new cylinder and controls to all that lovely new copper pipework, Jacques has completely transformed the setup, leaving the customer with a modern and efficient heating and hot water system.

The system was also thoroughly cleaned through as part of the works, helping protect the new equipment and keep everything running as it should.

And we think that finished pipework deserves a bit of appreciation too… 👏🔧

Huge congratulations to Moordown & Southbourne Cherries U11s, who lifted the Bournemouth Electric Plate today 🏆 — and did it without letting more than a single goal past them the whole way through.

Meet Gold BoilerCare’s newest (and youngest) apprentices 👷‍♂️👷‍♀️

Today we started a 3-day air conditioning install in Wimborne for a long-standing client. The commercial unit was empty, so with it being half term I thought I’d show Theo (10) and Maddison (7) exactly what Daddy and his team do day to day and let them get properly involved alongside Tony, Tiffany and Callum fitting the first 5 units.

They weren’t shy either. Over the course of day one they:
• Located the units and moved them to each room
• Measured up the rooms to work out which kW unit went where
• Marked out the walls and drilled the internal brackets
• Cored the holes for the pipework
• Even had a go at brazing — under very close supervision from Dad 👀 (Theo had the fire extinguisher on standby just in case 🫣)

A brilliant first day, so I treated them to a Coke and some sweets and let them run around the park.

The only downside? I then had to pay them for the work — followed swiftly by a trip to the shop for Squishies 🤷‍♂️

Day 2 tomorrow. Same crew.

❄️ Another successful commercial air conditioning repair completed! 👨‍🔧

Today, Aaron & Marc teamed up with Clarke’s Electrical to diagnose and repair a faulty office air conditioning system.

After carrying out a thorough fault-finding investigation, the issue was quickly identified and rectified, getting the system back up and running with minimal disruption to the client. ✅

The customer was so pleased with today’s visit that they’ve entrusted us with the ongoing annual servicing of all 22 air conditioning units on site. 👏

A fantastic result all round and another valued commercial customer who can rely on Gold BoilerCare to keep their air conditioning running efficiently year after year.

A day of golf. A day of friendship. A day to remember. ❤️⛳

On Friday, the Gold BoilerCare team were honoured to support and sponsor the inaugural ‘Ding D**g, One for the Road!’ Charity Golf Day at Crane Valley Golf Club.

The day was held in memory of Mark Deeble a respected local businessman, a great friend of Aaron’s and someone who meant so much to so many. It was a privilege to be part of a day that celebrated friendship, shared so many memories and raised vital funds for three incredible local charities.

An amazing £4,000 was raised for Dorset Mind, Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance and Hospice at Home.

A huge thank you to everyone who organised, sponsored, donated and took part. The support shown throughout the day was incredible and is a real reflection of our local community.

Mark’s legacy lives on through days like these. ❤️

This is why annual AC servicing matters 🔧❄️
Multi-split system serviced in Ringwood today — two indoor units plus the outdoor condenser — and it turned into a proper detective job.

📸 Photo 1 — The filters. That grey blanket is what your AC pushes air through when it’s never been serviced. Restricted airflow, higher running costs, and not what you want to be breathing.

📸 Photo 2 — The unit was leaking water on arrival. The culprit? A lump of putty blocking the condensate pipework inside the wall, left by the original installer. Removed, pipework adjusted, leak sorted. ✅

📸 Photo 3 — Outdoor unit stripped down, coil deep-cleaned and washed through — not just a wipe of the casing.

📸 Photo 4 — Then the plot thickened. An intermittent fault code led us to a live sensor wire trapped inside the metal casing — again from the original install. Freed, checked and documented.

📸 Photo 5 — Everything tested, temperature performance recorded on both units, and the system left working and leak-free.

The customer was chuffed with the time taken — that’s the standard, every job.

No two days the same in this trade! 🔧

Today’s a perfect example of the variety we love at Gold BoilerCare.

This morning, part of the team’s been at a school in Boscombe, relocating radiators and adapting original iron pipework — careful work in an older building where protecting the space matters as much as the pipework itself.

Over in Ferndown, we’ve been called to a large commercial unit with 12 poorly maintained air conditioning systems. Our F-Gas certified engineers are safely recovering the R410A refrigerant so urgent reactive work to the units and brackets can be carried out — done properly, done safely.
