A hand-built kitchen crafted from solid wood and water-boil-proof (WBP) plywood offers exceptional durability and long-lasting quality. WBP ply is constructed from layered wood veneers bonded with a waterproof adhesive, making it significantly stronger and far more resistant to moisture and humidity than chipboard, which is commonly used in mass-produced “off-the-shelf” kitchens.

Choosing solid wood also provides complete flexibility in design and style. You can select the exact colour and finish you want, and the surfaces can be sanded and repainted multiple times — allowing you to refresh or completely change the look of your kitchen throughout its lifetime.

Because each kitchen is custom-made, every inch of space can be utilised with precision. There’s no need for blank fillers to hide awkward gaps, making this an ideal solution for smaller or uniquely shaped kitchens.

A truly bespoke, durable, and sustainable kitchen — built to last.

Sustainable tulipwood was used to create faux wooden panelling that brings a warm, inviting character to this living room. The panelling not only enhances the cozy, stylish atmosphere but also creates space for additional insulation on the exterior-facing walls, further improving comfort and energy efficiency. Extra design details, such as the William Morris print wallpaper and bronze radiators work well with the look and feel of this period home and elevate the overall style of the room.

Shelving and cupboard space have been created in the existing recesses on either side of the doorway. These units were built using Tulip wood, a sustainable hardwood that offers a far superior working and finishing quality compared to MDF, which is often used for projects like this. Tulip wood requires only a light hand-sand before painting, while MDF can take hours of preparation and still may not achieve as clean or durable a finish. In addition, Tulip wood has a similar price point to MDF making it an affordable alternative.

This spare bedroom was designed to comfortably accommodate visiting family, with sleeping solutions for both adults and children. By collaborating closely with the client and developing a detailed mood board, we created a layout that is both practical and visually appealing. Additional sleeping areas are positioned above the double beds, and an open lattice structure provides a sense of privacy while still allowing light and ventilation to flow through the space. This approach ensures comfort, flexibility, and an inviting atmosphere for all guests.
