⚡️ More Allen Bradley automation in for repair ⚙️

We have a variety of Ultra 3000 drives, Powerflex 4 and some MP servo motors

Over the coming days we will highlight what we find wrong with each of these, then fully test them.

Urgent bank holiday breakdown of an Allen Bradley Ultra 3000 drive with an E23 fault

We have the drive on pre repair test to see what the issue is. We have all the correct cables and motor for these drives as well as PC software.

Lenze 8200 Vector repaired and tested

This came in from a large newspaper printing customer who explained it had been randomly tripping on OC1.

We found every capacitor way out of spec despite looking fine. The small cooling fan had failed. Im yet to see one of these with a working fan. We fitted a better fan which was more readily available than the 5V version.

Fully tested using the PC and interface module 👍

Fanuc A06B-6087-H126 Power Supply in for urgent repair.

Our customer has a machine down and has sent this to us with a fan alarm. They requested to change the fan only as the machine was old and wasn't long of being scrapped.

After opening up and sending photos of the insides they decided against this decision and this was very wise. Heavy contamination of oil, heatsinks blocked with grease, both fans not turning, capacitors way out of tolerance and PCB's suffering corrosion.

We always advise customers against quick fixes as they rarely last. The proper way is always to fully dismantle, inspect, clean and service. This will now come with a full warranty, and can be sold on in future as a guaranteed working part if the machine was scrapped. In its current state it is as good as scrap.

SSD Eurotherm 690PB repaired and tested.

This came in absolutely filthy, failed cooling fans, and no output.

Once serviced and cleaned it is back to full working order.
