”WCB have recently carried out work in Braes Mead, South Nutfield to replace old metal gas mains and services with plastic pipes. The Project Manager was called Liam but I don't know his surname. I am delighted to say that this work was carried out with the minimum of disruption and the road, and particularly my drive, have been returned to their original state. The team led by Liam have been friendly, co-operative, informative and efficient. At a time when we often hear the comment, 'this country is broken', it's been VERY encouraging to experience an example of how it can, and does work in some cases. Congratulations to all the team, including the office staff.“

”We are currently having pipe upgrade work carried out. Both myself, and my neighbours have been really impressed. The whole team are doing a professional job. They are incredibly tidy, not easy when they are digging up gardens – but they have left each front garden in a really decent condition. Mine has now been put back, with turf replaced, extra topsoil added and new grass seed laid – I wasn’t expecting that! Everything is safely marked and protected and they have been very respectful in only digging up/moving what is necessary.“

”I am on Ross Road in Wallington and have had your staff here for 2 weeks. I wanted to say how good your staff are. They worked very hard all week and really did right by the residents. I've spoken to several of my neighbours who have said how it's been so much better than expected and how they communicated so well with us. I don't know the names of anyone but of the ground workers, the fair hair lad was just so good and approachable. There was a plan to put a meter on the outside which I pushed back on, and they did work hard inside to make it work by moving the meter and redoing pipework (which didn't work first time but was picked up in testing). These staff are an asset to your business. Sorry I didn't get the names to feed back but each and every one was excellent.“

We especially appreciated the considerate way we were informed of the procedures to be taken. Furthermore everyone we spoke to was both friendly and polite, any queries we raised were welcomed and nothing was too much trouble for anyone. The ladies in the Customer Liaison team who visited us were likewise immensely helpful and considerate. They played a major role in the whole success of the completion of the works.“
