Today we attended a boiler breakdown at a business in Rosegrove. The fault very quickly identified as a defective gas valve.
Whilst on site we were instructed to service the boiler, where the ionisation probe and gasket were found to be showing signs of distress. These were replaced as a preventative measure, to avoid another costly and disruptive breakdown in the future. We not only do domestic work but also site and contract work.
Today, on a site in Rawtenstall we installed a Boiler and piped out for the sink, before the installation of the kitchen early next week. Photos of the rest of the property will follow in due course.

Another boiler attended. This time for a routine service.

Upon removing the cover it was apparent that the boiler was in desperate need of a full service. However the more alarming issues arose when analysing the flue gasses. It became apparent that previously the gas valve had been replaced and the replacement never set up correctly. Not only was the boiler running ineffiently but also producing increasingly higher amount of carbon monoxide.

The gas valve was set correctly, and a full strip down and cleaned carried out. Once again reinforcing why you should keep your gas appliances regularly serviced.

After the interest generated from the last bathroom pictures uploaded we though that we'd upload a few photos from a job completed last week. A hard wearing suite at sensible money, showing that all budgets can be catered for. This was installed in a rental property in Burnley Wood.
Whilst we were we also completed a radiator swap, matching the valves to rest of the property.

Installation of a twin element 150 litre direct unvented hot water cylinder, and staff toilet. Each element under its own individual control offering a timed circuit for programmed hot water and countdown boost timer for quicker demands. All electrical work carried out by KA Electrical.

Today we attended a breakdown on an LPG boiler. Fault was traced to the gas valve. New part supplied and fitted with the customer back up and running within a couple of hours. Using genuine parts and the correct test equipment to verify safe operation on completion for full peace of mind.

Today we attended a Baxi Avanta Exclusive in Burnley. The boiler had been constantly discharging through the pressure relief for some time, caused by a pin holed plate heat exchanger. This fault combined with being left unrepaired then caused the expansion vessel to fail due to constant over pressurising. Another reminder of the importance of having your gas appliances maintained and serviced regularly. Faults spotted early can save you large repair bills later down the line.
