About Us
We are experienced builders who work on various types of projects. Our team includes bricklayers, carpenters, plasters, plumbers, electricians and roofers, making us one of the most dependable builders in the area.
We pride ourselves on offering friendly and affordable building services with efficient turnaround and attention to detail. We offer a full range of building services, on top of our Garden Rooms, Extensions and Conversions.
We are a family run business est 1986, specialists in extensions, garden rooms, conversions and new builds.
From plans to completion, we have extensive knowledge on all the work we cover and aim to make your project no matter the size stress free. Take for example, some large garden rooms can be 15m wide, usually customers require bi-fold doors installing not only to the front of the garden room, but also opening the back of the house up and either leaving a large open area from the house into the garden room, or then fitting internal bi-folds. This is a very specialised job.
When you are making an opening in the back of your house sometimes 8m or more wide, a lot of company’s are not capable of doing this sort of job, it involves propping the weight of the house above the opening your making with special supports etc, so you can safely install lintels which support the house, so there is no movement in the building. We are asked quite regularly to fit these beams for other contractors.
We have done quite a lot of building work for commercial customers: We extended the Park Hotel in Redcar. They bought the house next door, we converted it into more bedrooms. We also built a large dining hall at their sister hotel The Croft Spar hotel in Croft near Darlington that was part of a half million pound job. We have done a lottery funded job in Redcar, we built the new bandstand near the boating lake.
Most of the work we do now is specialising in domestic Garden rooms and extensions.
