A large-scale home renovation and first-floor extension transformed daily life for a young family in Holgate, York. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧

We took almost every room back to brick, removed an imposing chimney breast, tiled between the bay windows, installed new wiring and plumbing, replaced all windows and doors (internal and external), replastered and fitted a new bathroom.

Wait for the slide action of that space-saving pocket door on the bathroom. This is a favourite design choice of ours for enhancing the flow of awkward places. 🙌

The customer was so impressed with our work, safety conscious approach, and our friendly and respectful team of trades, that she recommended us to her friends.

We’re currently renovating the next-door neighbour’s home – the ultimate endorsement of our family-run design and build service. 🏠

It’s giving Grand Designs. 🤌 No. 2 Thirkleby Fold was built in the style of a traditional farmhouse. Nestled within a disused farmyard site, this bespoke new build home looks as though it’s always been part of its agricultural surroundings.

Every last detail of this design and build was carefully considered, both inside and out.
