✅ Valid CPCS Dumper Ticket (essential)
✅ Previous groundworks experience
✅ Reliable, hardworking and punctual
✅ Able to work safely and effectively as part of a team

🚧 Calder Road – Trans Pennine Upgrade 🚧

Another section of works completed by the team. We’ve installed new manholes along with a 750mm drainage run and gully outlets as part of the Calder Road works on the Trans Pennine Upgrade project.

The drainage has now been fully backfilled and compacted up to the new road formation level, getting everything ready for the realignment of the road over the new bridge.

Great progress on site and another step forward for the project. Well done to the team putting the work in 👷‍♂️💪

Today we say a big thank you to David bollans (Benny) as he retires from KDR — and what a supervisor he’s been.

Not only has he led from the front, kept jobs running smoothly and set high standards on site, but he’s also kept everyone smiling along the way. His quick wit and legendary ability to hand out nicknames (whether you liked them or not!) will definitely be missed.

Benny’s experience, leadership and humour have made a real impact on the team and he’s been a huge part of what makes KDR what it is.

Wishing you a long, happy and well-deserved retirement. Enjoy the lie-ins… although we’re sure you’ll still be up early out of habit!

Positions Available:
• Machine Drivers
• Pipe Layers
• Supervisors (SSSTS required)

Requirements:
• Proven, hands-on experience in deep drainage (essential – no exceptions)
• Valid CSCS / CPCS tickets (role dependent)
• SSSTS required for supervisor roles
• Strong understanding of deep drainage works, health & safety, and site standards

⚠️ Please note: These roles are strictly for candidates with solid, practical deep drainage experience. Applicants without this background will not be considered.
