👷🏻‍♂️ 🚧 We’re proud to showcase one of our latest groundwork projects - a 42m x 21m steel frame building in the making 🔩

From bringing up ground levels to precise sub-base installation, this slab includes over 187m³ of C35 concrete, two layers of A393 reinforcing mesh finished with a power float surface and sealed for durability and performance - all carried out in line with HSE requirements.

Another project completed for a new diesel and AdBlue tank base 💪

The sequence of works:

• Pecked out the existing concrete base using our 3-ton excavator

• Cleared and removed all waste with grab lorries

• Shuttered a new concrete base ready for reinforcement

• Installed A393 mesh for strength

• Concrete poured and finished with a brush finish

⚡️ Additional works including installing palisade fencing with gates and Armco barriers to protect the area and an electric supply to the tanks and lighting installation once the tanks are positioned

🚧 New Addition to the Fleet 🚧

We’re pleased to welcome a new 9-tonne excavator to the Starkey Developments Ltd plant fleet.

This latest addition strengthens our capability on groundworks and commercial projects, helping us deliver works more efficiently and keep projects moving on programme.

Looking forward to getting it straight to work on upcoming projects across South & West Wales.
