As part of Ecogee’s contract with Weaver Vale Housing Trust working across Weaverham on the Social Housing Fund (SHF) Warm Homes Wave 3 project, we have donated £500 worth of sports equipment to Weaverham FC to support young people at the heart of the area we’re working in 💪

As we carry out home surveys and deliver energy‑efficiency improvements for local residents, it’s important to us that we also invest in the wider community. Supporting Weaverham FC means supporting young people at the heart of the area we’re working in 💚

A huge thank you to our incredible contractors for donating to our annual Easter Egg collection with M&Y Construction 🐣🌷💚

Because of your generosity, we were able to donate Easter eggs to Centre 56 and Bridge Road Community Centre - helping to bring a little joy to children and families who need it most at Easter time.

Thank you to every contractor who supported the appeal and made this possible:

Northern Scaffolding
Nuttall Energy

Knox Ltd

Your kindness means so much to us and to the families who received these gifts. From all of us at Ecogee, thank you for helping us make a difference this Easter 💚

It’s 👏

Neurodiversity is a vital part of the UK workforce, with an estimated 1 in 7 people identifying as neurodiverse. In construction, this representation is even higher. Research published last year by the CIOB found that 1 in 4 construction workers consider themselves to have a neurodiverse condition - yet only 17% have a formal diagnosis. This gap highlights just how important awareness, understanding, and inclusive practices are across our sector.

We're celebrating the brilliant minds of our colleagues across The Regenda Group and Ecogee. As a retrofit and construction partner, Ecogee recognises the huge value neurodivergent colleagues bring to our industry - from creativity and problem‑solving to attention to detail and innovative thinking.

At Ecogee, we’re committed to the inclusion of everyone in the workplace by:

💚 Supporting our customers and colleagues through neurodiversity training. Our Health and Safety Hub provide a dedicated space for training, including Toolbox Talks and Mental Health interventions.

💚 Supporting inclusive communication and working practices to ensure our teams have the space and support they need to do their best work. This includes adapting the work environment and delivery of training methods to best suit an individual's needs, flexible working, compressed working patterns, part time roles and home working opportunities.

💚 Creating environments where colleagues feel understood and empowered, providing support and guidance.

We’re proud to recognise and celebrate the value neurodiverse colleagues bring to our industry and our organisation - this week and every week 💚

Today, the Ecogee team attended the Greater Manchester Combined Authority Green Summit 2026 at Co‑op Live - a powerful gathering of leaders, innovators, and organisations committed to accelerating climate action across the city region 💚

Hosted by the Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham, the summit brought together businesses, local authorities, community groups, academia, and industry partners to explore the actions needed to deliver Greater Manchester’s 5‑Year Environment Plan and progress towards carbon neutrality by 2038.

Key discussions spanned critical areas where collaboration will shape a greener, fairer, and more prosperous future:
🚘 Low‑emission transport
⚡ Clean energy
☀️ Improved air quality
🏠 Housing retrofit
♻️ Waste reduction
🫂 Community resilience

For Ecogee, it was an opportunity to connect with partners who share our commitment to delivering high‑quality, compliant retrofit and energy‑efficiency solutions that support regional climate goals.

Events like this reinforce the importance of working together to drive meaningful, measurable change. We're inspired by the passion and ideas shared, and excited for what we can achieve next 🙌
