We have been a bit quiet of late, so here are the pictures from a sortie to Elvington conducted last week. A great place to visit, PPR by phone and £25.00 landing fee (which includes one entry into the excellent Yorkshire Air Museum. There is no fuel, but with Breighton being a short hop away, that's not an issue.

On Sunday 13 June, Al Stacey, bought Verity (ZA656) up to Saltby to see her older sister Charlie. It's not often you see two military marked Ventures together, the last time being 2016 when we took Charlie down to Hullavington. Good to see Al and Verity.

We are pleased to report that after a 14 month grounding and having received the NARC and CoA from the CAA, ZA634 returned to the air this week for a twenty minute flight. She performed well with no reported major issues.

Good evening,

No doubt many of you Venture fans out there would have seen the news that for the second time this year a Venture has parked itself in a field and this time again without injury and apparently little damage to the airframe (good news). Whilst the a/c that apparently undershot the runway at Shobdon wears the same clothes as ZA634. However it was not ZA634, which is still grounded serviceable awaiting paperwork.

Best wishes to the crew involved in the Shobbon field landing and hopefully we will see their Venture back in the air soon (probably before ours at this rate).

Cheers
