Maciver Limited was established in 1993 by brothers Ian and Calum Maciver as a Plant Hire Company combining with the operation of Carnish Quarry in Uig to supply quality Quarry Aggregates throughout Lewis & Harris, In 2000 they purchased a Ready Mix Concrete Plant and began the manufacturing of Dense Concrete Blocks and producing Ready Mix Concrete whilst continuing to expand the Plant Hire face

t of the Company. Since 2003 we have expanded our range of products and materials considerably to meet the expectations and requirements of our Customers in both the private and trade markets. In 2014 we attained BSI Accrediation and CE Kitemark for our Ready Mix Concrete and Dense Concrete Blocks manufacturing.

I.A. & C. Maciver Limited has an opportunity for a HGV Apprentice.
This is a full time position, 40+ hours.
The successful applicant will be based in our workshop in Parkend and will be involved in learning all aspects of HGV/PCV repair and maintenance.
You will attend college working towards attaining an SVQ 3.
It is essential you are literate, numerate, reliable & keen to learn.
