York Potash The York Potash Project is a nationally important proposal to develop a new state-of-the-art underground potash mine between Whitby and Scarborough.

The York Potash Project is a nationally important proposal to develop a new state-of-the-art potash mine in the area between Whitby and Scarborough. The project would create over 1,000 direct jobs and thousands more in supply and support businesses. It would boost the local and the national economies and secure a supply of high-value potash for generations to come.
