🍂 Well… somehow it’s September.

As much as Abbie is clinging onto summer with both hands and refusing to acknowledge that flip-flop season is on borrowed time, even she can’t stop the mornings getting chillier.

And you know what that means…

💙 What an incredible weekend at the Winterton Show! 💙

We’re still smiling after such a fantastic couple of days! A huge thank you to everyone who came to visit us, took part in our Duck Hunt, and stopped for a chat. It was brilliant to see so many familiar faces and lots of new ones. Seeing so many children having fun and showing such lovely manners made the weekend even more special.

🦆 Our Duck Hunt was a huge success, and we’d like to say a massive thank you to The little cupcake company and Rainbow Rhino Laser Crafts for helping make it possible. Your support is greatly appreciated.

🎣 Our Hook-a-Duck game and water play tray kept everyone entertained, while our four-legged visitors certainly weren’t forgotten, with plenty of treats handed out throughout the weekend! 🐶🐾

The show wasn’t just about fun. There was a dispatch of our Mike during the weekend to assist the facilities at the show ground.
But more importantly we had the pleasure of catching up with many of our loyal customers, meeting new families, and chatting with people about future plumbing and heating projects. Every conversation means so much to our small business.

Their little legs managed 13km this evening. However we are a duck down, so only 7 went out this evening - one has already been claimed so 6

10 of our cheeky little ducks have escaped and are hiding around the village! They decided the plumbing van was far too boring and have gone exploring. You’ll find them lurking at the Junction, peeking in at the village entry, enjoying a drink at the George, posing with the lions, relaxing at the Pavilion, admiring the flower bed near the cemetery, a cheeky window view, taking a well-earned rest along the Todd’s, squeezing through a Roxby Park gate, and discovering the village’s historic name, Roscebi.

Can you find all of our ducks? Keep your eyes peeled and you might just prove you’re as good at spotting hidden things as we are at finding leaks! Good luck, and happy duck hunting!
