‼️ 🐍 “Beware the man who speaks with a forked tongue”‼️
We understand that people are watching every penny right now, and we genuinely respect that. When we price a job, we price it honestly based on what it actually takes to do it right. Sometimes that means we do not win the work, and we have made peace with that.
What we have learned over the years is that cheap rendering rarely stays cheap for long.
We recently removed failed render from a property that is a clear example of exactly that. It had been applied too thin, the preparation work was not carried out correctly, and it was only a matter of time before it started to fail. The homeowner is now paying to have it stripped back and redone at a cost far beyond what they originally saved.
Our advice, whether you choose to use us or not, is simple.
Get two or three quotes, but do not let price be the only thing you compare.
➡️ Ask about the process.
➡️ Ask what products are being used and why.
➡️ Ask whether the work comes with any form of warranty.
A good rendering contractor will have clear and confident answers to all of those questions.
Knowledge and experience have real value, even if they do not always show up clearly on a quote.
We can only share what we know and advise people as honestly as possible. What we will never do is compromise on quality just to win a job we cannot stand behind.
